While the top spots in the Western Conference have been virtually untouched for a while now, with the Phoenix Suns and Golden State Warriors atop the standings for majority of the season, the Eastern Conference seeding continues to shuffle on a daily basis.

The latest blockbuster trade between two East powerhouses sending James Harden to the Philadelphia 76ers and Ben Simmons to the Brooklyn Nets will surely shake things up even further.

Draymond Green was asked to weigh in on the huge trade that transpired across the other conference. The Warriors star claimed that both sides end up better off after making the deal.

Via Sam Amick of The Athletic:

“I think honestly, for me, you watched two Eastern conference teams make each other better,” Green, who recently signed a multiyear deal with TNT, told The Athletic. “I think they both got better in the trade.

“And I mean, I only have to face one of those teams (in the Finals). So it (doesn’t) really matter to me which one is better. Ultimately, to reach my goal, I’ve got to face one of them,” the Warriors star continued.

Green is known to be outspoken with his basketball takes, but even he didn't want to speak out of turn with regard to any else's situation.

“(But) I don’t really get off on other people’s situations. Ben had his thing. James had his thing. …I don’t know all the details.”

There's a decent chance that one of those teams emerges out of the scrum in the East. For Draymond's Warriors to get a chance to face either of them, they'll need him back and healthy as he returns from a lingering back injury.
