Golden State Warriors power forward Draymond Green has poked three different players in the eye this season.

Rockets Nation posted the update on its official Twitter account on April 30. The three players are the Los Angeles Lakers' LeBron James, the Houston Rockets' James Harden, and the Philadelphia 76ers' J.J. Redick.

Green has had a history with all three players. He got into an altercation with James during Game 4 of the 2016 NBA Finals between the Golden State Warriors and Cleveland Cavaliers. James told FOX Sports some of Green's trash talk was “a little bit overboard.”

Seven months later, Green committed a hard foul (ruled a flagrant 1) on James during a regular season game between the Warriors and Cavaliers.

On March 31, 2017, Green struck Harden on his injured wrist as the former was trying to break free during an offensive set. During the current second-round playoff series between Houston and Golden State, Green shot back at Harden's officiating complaints.

More specifically, Harden wanted the officials to call the game both ways at the conclusion of Game 1. He felt they missed some fouls on his three-point attempts. To which Green replied (to NBC Sports via USA Today), “When you land three feet ahead of where you shoot the ball from, that's really not my issue.”

Green explained to 95.7 The Game the poke on Harden's eye was an accident. It occurred during a rebound scuffle in Game 2.

As for Redick, he's had his fair share of physical confrontations with Green, especially when he played for the Los Angeles Clippers. Not only are the Clippers and Warriors division rivals, but they also have a known dislike for each other. Redick running into Green's rock-solid screens was a common occurrence during the former's Clippers playing days from 2013 to 2017.

The bigger question looms: were the pokings inadvertent on Green's part? We hope they are. Green, the 2017 NBA Defensive Player of the Year, knows a thing or two about shutting down the opposition. Perhaps his tenacity got the better of him during those three occurrences.
