Despite earlier reports stating that Draymond Green may not play in their game on Friday versus the Detroit Pistons, the Golden State Warriors have now updated his status into ‘probable.' Together with Andre Iguodala, Green may return to action to help the team further improve their record for the season.

The reigning Defensive Player of the Year already missed the Warriors’ last game against the Charlotte Hornets on Wednesday, to rest the shoulder that has been hampering him recently. Green's return will a huge boost to the defending champions, as they are already shorthanded in their frontcourt rotation, with Zaza Pachulia also injured.

Draymond Green is once again playing at a high level this season with impressive averages of 10.4 points, 7.3 rebounds, 7.1 assists, 1.5 steals, and 1.3 block in 32.0 minutes per game. Should he not show any signs of still being hurt, the Pistons will have their hands full, especially with the two-time All-Star forward expected to be fired up to play again in his home state.
