The Golden State Warriors have the second pick in the upcoming NBA Draft. However, a recent report revealed that the Dubs are willing to move back from the second pick to acquire an international dark horse prospect.

According to Connor Letourneau of the San Francisco Chronicle, the Warriors are eyeing Israeli prospect Deni Avdija, a 6-foot-9 forward who, apart from his size, is a decent playmaker with good ball-handling skills.

If the Warriors move outside the top three picks, they’d likely eye Israeli small forward Deni Avdija, who can guard multiple positions and slide into a secondary-playmaker role. According to a league source, Golden State has become ‘infatuated' with Avdija’s skill level and believes he can develop into a Danilo Gallinari-type.

Various rumors reveal that the Warriors might pick James Wiseman, but in a draft without a consensus first overall pick, there's a good chance that Wiseman might be off the board once it's the Dubs' turn to select.

As such, there are whispers that Golden State is leaning towards using that pick as part of a trade package to acquire a solid veteran, but given the Warriors' reported infatuation with Avdija, they could also arrange a trade deal to move down the draft board.

From the looks of it, the Steve Kerr-coached squad is looking to double-down on their position-less playstyle. They are one of the pioneers of this modern roster. Take example Draymond Green, who's built like a forward but plays like a guard–so much so that he's the one who orchestrates the Warriors' offense and defense.
