Understandably, Golden State Warriors big man James Wiseman has gone through some growing pains as he adjusts to the pros in his first season in the league. This frustration was apparent in the Dubs' loss to the Los Angeles Clippers on Wednesday, as Wiseman admitted there was disorder in terms of executing plays.

After the Warriors' 108-101 loss to the Clippers on Wednesday, Wiseman discussed the disarray on a particular play with Stephen Curry. Wiseman finished the game with 10 points, four rebounds, one steal, and one block. He also had three turnovers.

“There was a lot of confusion on the offensive end,” he said, per Katie Woo of NBC Sports. “I was trying to wait on Steph [Curry] to come off the screen, but he didn't come. I was like, should I make a move, or should I wait on Steph? That's how I kept getting those turnovers.

“It was kind of confusing to me, so I got really frustrated,” he added.

Warriors head coach Steve Kerr sensed Wiseman's vexation for his errors. But for Kerr, he likes that the 19-year-old is admitting defeat and owning up to his mistakes. For Kerr, this type of attitude will aid Wiseman as he goes through his NBA journey.

“You can tell that he’s not afraid to admit that things are going really fast for him right now,” Kerr said to Bay Area reporters on Thursday. “I like that admission, I like that vulnerability, because if you fake it, you’re never really going to get anywhere.

“This is a process that he's going to have to live with all year long, being up and down,” Kerr added. “You can't really become consistent in this league in a couple of weeks. … It's an important perspective for all of us to have, and James to have. It's going to take time.”

Wiseman has a chance to redeem himself when the Warriors face up against the Clippers on Friday.
