Zaza Pachulia has officially walked away from playing basketball, but his successful relationship with the Golden State Warriors aren't done just yet. In fact, he just got a surprise gift from Klay Thompson.

He spent two successful seasons with the Warriors before ending his career with the Detroit Pistons. Now that Pachulia is about to roll up to Chase Center as a consultant, Klay felt the Georgian big man should have a car that matches his position with the organization.

Getting a retirement gift is nice. However, getting a luxury car from one of the NBA's most talented shooting guards is a little too much. However, Pachulia is more than happy to take him up on that offer.

Zaza decided to hang up his sneakers and return to the team as a consultant. While the team is different compared to the one he left, he's still confident that the Warriors will be able to perform.

“I was taking a tour around the Chase Center the other day and went to the locker room and there are a lot of younger guys … and a perfect opportunity for them to prove … to show themselves,” Pachulia said recently, per NBC Sports. “It's going to be an interesting year. They have a great coaching staff — one of the best in the business — and I'm sure coach [Steve] Kerr will use those players in the right way.”

Meanwhile, Klay Thompson is still enjoying life while he is recovering from his ACL tear. He was recently vacationing with girlfriend Laura Harrier, so there's no question that he'll be back on the rehab process in a chipper mood.
