Andrew Wiggins has now logged back-to-back strong performances for the Golden State Warriors after another huge game on Thursday night. Wiggins led his team in scoring with 26 points en route to a 104-94 win over the Boston Celtics in Game 5 of the NBA Finals.

The basketball world was buzzing after Wiggins' eye-popping display. So much so, that Washington Wizards stud Kyle Kuzma decided to talk up Wiggins' esteemed status with the Warriors franchise:

“Andrew Wiggins future warrior legend,” Kuzma wrote in his tweet.

After what we saw from Wiggins in Games 4 and 5, it's hard to argue against Kuzma's bold claim here. Particularly in Game 5, when Warriors superstar Stephen Curry had one of the worst shooting nights of his career, Wiggins came to the rescue for Golden State.

The Dubs will need more of the same for Wiggins on Thursday as this series shifts to Boston for Game 6. The Warriors now hold a 3-2 advantage in the series and they are now just one win away from another title. This would be a first for Wiggins, though, and if he is able to achieve this feat then there's no denying that he absolutely deserves the title of “NBA champion.”
