Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors got some revenge against a talented young Memphis Grizzlies team. The last two times these teams faced each other, it ended in Ja Morant and the Memphis' favor.

The two-game losing streak started last season when the Grizzlies eliminated the Warriors in the play-in games. The second was the first defeat the Warriors suffered this season, and it was an overtime thriller.

It all changed Thursday night because of Stephen Curry's 46 points. Afterward, Ja Morant spoke about trying to defend the two-time MVP in his postgame interview.

“The greatest shooter of all time. We know he's going to make shots. You just got to make it very tough for him to get off. We had some mental lapse during the game, and he made us pay for it,” Ja Morant told ClutchPoints.

Curry was 8-of-14 from three-point land in a winning effort. It was the best shooting night he's had in weeks. Although Memphis put a ton of pressure on him, nothing seemed to work. The three-point king just kept scoring.

The win improved the Warriors' record to 26-6 for the season. It was a game the Warriors wanted to win badly, and it took a 40 point performance from Curry to get the job done. Since they took care of business at home against Memphis, they can now look ahead to their next challenge.

Moses Moody joined the Warriors' Multiverse podcast by ClutchPoints this week. The entire interview is below.

On Christmas, the Warriors will travel to face the defending Western Conference champions, the Phoenix Suns. Stephen Curry and Chris Paul will try to lead their teams to victory and prove that they are the best team in the NBA.
