The Orlando Magic have yet to finalize their roster for the 2021-22 campaign and at this point, they have decided to turn to a former teammate of Stephen Curry with the Golden State Warriors as their latest recruit.

On Tuesday, the Magic announced on their official Twitter page that they have signed 6-foot-3 wing Mychal Mulder to a two-way deal:

After playing the last two seasons with the Warriors, Mulder got waived by the Dubs in October 2020. He failed to sign a new deal with any NBA team during the offseason, which is why it's a pleasant surprise that he was able to secure a deal with the Magic.

Despite this recent development, a spot in Orlando's rotation is anything but guaranteed for Mulder at this point. He will need to prove his worth to Magic head coach Jamahl Mosley or he could end up playing for the team's NBA G League affiliate. Nevertheless, the fact that he's back in the NBA is definitely a welcome development for Mychal Mulder.

In two seasons with the Warriors, Mulder produced averages of 6.2 points per game in 14.5 minutes of action off the bench. The former Kentucky standout also drained a respectable 1.5 triples per contest on a 38.0 percent clip.
