With the playoffs right around the corner, the Golden State Warriors should get a little boost with Andre Iguodala expected to be ready for the first game.

Steve Kerr told the media at the pregame shootaround that Iguodala could have probably played in Tuesday night's game against the Utah Jazz, but they just wanted to give him a little extra rest. With resting him for the Jazz game it allows him to get at least a full week off before the postseason starts.

He has been dealing with a sore knee, and although it isn't anything structurally, it just needed a little time to feel better after going through the grind of the entire regular season.

Although the Warriors still won't have Stephen Curry back, Iguodala is another veteran guy that can come off the bench and give the team a real spark.

He has played in 64 games this year and is averaging six points, 3.8 rebounds and 3.3 assists per game. He is shooting 46.3 percent from the field and 28.2 percent from deep. Although he doesn't shoot a really high percentage from deep he seems to make the smart veteran plays during clutch situations though.

For the Warriors, there is still a lot to play out in the last few days of the season including figuring out exactly who they could play. There are still five options left in a very tight Western Conference race and the Warriors won't know until after Wednesday night's game who it will be.
