The Golden State Warriors are moving on in the NBA playoffs. The Western Conference Finals await them after a hard-fought series against the Memphis Grizzlies. Although they didn't have head coach Steve Kerr available for the final three games of their second-round matchup, the Dubs are back in the conference finals.

Fortunately for the Warriors, they will now get their head coach back. The team announced that Kerr has cleared health and safety protocols and will be rejoining the team in the conference finals. Kerr brought more good news to his press conference by saying that there's a small chance Gary Payton II could return to action in the conference finals.

Getting Kerr back is big news for the Warriors. They looked all out of sorts without him against the Grizzlies, who handed them a historic loss before giving them a good fight in the decisive Game 6. Whether this was interim head coach Mike Brown's fault or simply the Warriors underestimating the Grizzlies with Ja Morant sidelined remains to be seen. Now, Brown will move back to his role as an assistant coach.

The Warriors will face either the Phoenix Suns or Dallas Mavericks in the conference finals. They will hash out who moves on in Sunday evening's Game 7. The Suns are looking to defend their conference title, while the Mavs are looking to shock the league and beat the team with the most wins this season.
