SAN FRANCISCO – Golden State Warriors rookies Jonathan Kuminga and Moses Moody have played extremely well as of late.

They are completely different players compared to the beginning of the season, with Steve Kerr even trusting both as part-time starters and crunch-time performers when needed. Early in their NBA debuts, Kuminga and Moody had a hard time getting on the floor at all.

“I think you never really know what to expect with rookies,” Kerr told ClutchPoints. “I think both Moses and JK have done a great job. Obviously, we’ve given them a lot more responsibility lately.”

Kuminga and Moody are accepting every challenge thrown at them and exceeding expectations. Whenever their number is called, they are prepared to give maximum effort, and as the Warriors get closer to the postseason, their number is being called more and more.

“Some of it is because of injury and some of it is because they have earned more minutes,” Kerr said. “They are both doing a great job, and I'm really excited about what they have done this year, and what they are capable of doing in the future.”

In the last 10 games, both rookies are shooting over 50 percent from the field and 40 percent from behind the 3-point line. Kuminga is averaging 14.6 points in 24 minutes, while Moody is averaging 9.3 points in 20.4 minutes.
