While the Golden State Warriors have been linked with a potential reunion with Kevin Durant, fans and experts alike do not see it as a viable move because of what's required to land the superstar forward. However, according to Brian Windhorst of ESPN, a KD-to-Dubs deal remains a possibility.

Speaking on the Dan Patrick Show, Windhorst shared that a deal for Durant remains a “discussion” within the Warriors' organization. While Stephen Curry reportedly did not give an answer to the potential return of KD to Golden State, it's worth noting that he also didn't express being against it.

“There’s legitimate sources in the league telling me that it’s a discussion [regarding Kevin Durant to the Warriors],” Windhorst explained. “First off, the Warriors always believe in open throttle. The Warriors have shown they don’t care what they spend.

“This has been a discussion inside the Warriors organization. [Stephen] Curry’s been asked about it, and Curry gave a non-answer. But he didn’t shut it down. He didn’t say ‘hell no.'”

Of course Kevin Durant-Warriors reunion is bad news for the NBA. After all, who could forget how the decimated the league with their Hamptons 5? They could have won more titles had it not been for injuries.

It remains to be seen where Durant ends up with, especially with the Nets asking for a lot and several teams chasing forthe former MVP. Nonetheless, it is definitely interesting to hear that the Warriors remain in play for KD, which suggests that they could be seriously thinking about a potential deal.
