Golden State Warriors star Kevin Durant came out with a point to prove in Game 3 against the Los Angeles Clippers after a relatively quiet Games 1 and 2. It wasn't just on the offensive end, though, as Durant also made his presence felt on the defensive end.

Clippers point guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander learned this the hard way, as Durant emphatically stuffed the rookie's poster attempt:

It was Durant's only block of the night, but he certainly made it count.

Of course, Durant's main exploits were indeed on the offensive end. After taking only eight shots in the stunning Game 2 loss, KD got up 23 shot attempts and made 14 of them on Thursday, dominating from the opening tip to finish with 38 points in a 132-105 victory.

Much like Game 2, Durant and the Warriors jumped out to a massive lead early. Golden State poured in 41 first-quarter points and held a 21-point lead at halftime.

But unlike Game 2, the Dubs didn't begin to collapse in the third quarter. Instead, they extended the lead to 33 points heading into the final quarter, making the fourth a mere formality.

Golden State now has a 2-1 lead in the series and will look to take full command with a Game 4 win on Sunday. Expect Kevin Durant to continue his aggressive ways on both ends of the floor.
