Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry is considered the greatest shooter of all time, and he showed the reason for that against the Minnesota Timberwolves.

With the game on the line in overtime, Curry scored nine of the Warriors’ last 11 points to tie the match at 130-all with half a second left on the clock. The two-time MVP scored three 3-pointers in the final 93 seconds of play, with his last triple tying the game.

Unfortunately for Stephen Curry, his hot shooting went for naught after Kevin Durant was called for a foul in the final possession of the game. Karl-Anthony Towns banked one of two free-throws to end what could have been a double overtime game.

Curry finished with 37 points on 11-of-19 shooting from the 3-point territory. He also had three rebounds, five assists and two steals to finish the game.

Steph was scorching hot right from the start, so it’s surprising to see the Dubs still lose the game. Golden State was up by 14 points at halftime, thanks in large part to Curry scoring 20 points behind six triples.

Andrew Wiggins led the Timberwolves with 24 points and nine boards, while Towns (15 points, 13 rebounds and seven assists) came up big in the final stretch despite struggling early against DeMarcus Cousins.
