Washington Football Team tight end Logan Thomas is done for the season. That's after he got placed on the injured reserve again, per Adam Schefter of ESPN.

Thomas, who had just been activated off the IR ahead of the Raiders game against the Seattle Seahawks in Week 12. But apparently, he was not going to last long after he suffered a knee injury in last Sunday's 17-15 win over the Las Vegas Raiders on the road. It should be noted that players who hit the injured reserve beyond the first time within a season are not permitted to return to action, thus ending his 2021 NFL campaign.

This is a disappointing development for Washington, especially since the Football Team are on a roll. Ron Rivera's squad has won all of their last four games to get back to .500 with a 6-6 record.  Against the Raiders, Thomas even led the team with 48 receiving yards and a touchdown on three receptions and five targets.

Without Thomas, Taylor Heinicke's top tight end target would ideally be Ricky Seal-Jones, though he was not able to play in Week 13 with a hip issue. Seal Jones is currently questionable to play in Week 14, and it should be noted that he leads Washington in red-zone looks (12) and red-zone completions (7).

Washington will look to extend its win streak to five games with a date this coming Sunday against the Dallas Cowboys.
