Washington Wizards point guard John Wall is dishing out chill pills to all the media surrounding him during this preseason. The dime maestro was seen wearing a hoodie during warmups, which some believe emulating fellow All-Star Carmelo Anthony, who popularized the clothing item during the summer in some scintillating Blackout Sessions with personal trainer Chris Brickley at Life Time Athletic in Manhattan.

Houston Rockets point guard Chris Paul was also seen wearing one earlier in the preseason during his first go-ahead against the new-look Oklahoma City Thunder, which made people think the new fad had spread around the league.

It didn't take long for NBC to pick up on it either.

“No, man. No, no, no. I wore a hoodie last year when I warmed up,” Wall said, according to Chase Hughes of NBC Sports Washington.

Wall has indeed been known to wear these regularly during pregame warmups last year. Usually donning a grey hoodie sweatshirt with the sleeves cut off.

The star point guard notes he's worn them for a good reason.

“I have migraines a lot, so I always wear hoodies,” said Wall. “If you know me, I've always got shades on and I wear hoodies with shorts.”

“In the summer time people say I'm crazy, but that's my swag. When we go to Miami, I'm gonna have a hoodie and some shades.”

Wall has even packed some to wear during this upcoming road trip, so it won't be too long until he's asked this same question again.
