Madcap Moss has been stuck with Happy Corbin on WWE TV for too long.

Initially aligning with the former King following his big-time lucky break in Las Vegas – after months of living in SmackDown production trucks and eating canned foods he opened by banging them off the ground no less- Moss gradually lost interest in being the goon to Pat McAfee‘s least-favorite performer and officially turned his back on the fedora fanatic on the April 8th edition of SmackDown, when, after being blamed for Cobin's loss to Drew McIntyre at WrestleMania 38, he came to blows with his former friend.

Since then, the duo have wrestled three times, with wins by Moss at Backlash and Hell in a Cell and a DQ victory by Corbin on an episode of SmackDown, before the duo took to the ring one final time in a Last Laugh rubber match.

The results? Moss won out and the crowd, edged on by McAfee and New Day, laughed Corbin out of the building.

With Moss now (hopefully) free of Corbin, the future is looking bright for the Minnesota native. He can pursue his own interests and hopefully never have to even look at a fedora ever again.

And as for Corbin? Well, it looks like there might be a match in his not-too-distant future against the Indianapolis Colts' punter-turned SmackDown commentator, which could actually prove to be one of the better bouts on a future show, as McAfee is actually a very good wrestler and the comedy spots alone designed to embarrass Corbin would be guaranteed money in the bank, especially if it happens at Money in the Bank.
