When Ronda Rousey took to the wring to discuss her upcoming bout at Money in the Bank versus Natalya, it was only a matter of time before one of the many challengers for her belt, be that her aforementioned future foe or someone else, hit the ring to interrupt the “Rowdy One.”

On this particular episode of SmackDown, that person was none other than Shotzi, who talked some smack and challenged Rousey to a match for the fine folks in attendance at the Louisiana show.

Frankly, nothing about that is particularly out of the ordinary; when wrestlers hit the ring with a mic and nothing better to do than gloat, someone is always going to take issue with the idea and hit the ring. What was slightly out of the realm of typical television was that Rousey actually accepted the challenge on the spot and had a pretty fun seven-minute match against the tank-riding NXT standout.

Shotzi got in some offense, hit Rousey in the mouth early on, and was ultimately defeated with a Piper's Pit into an arm bar for the 1-2-3.

After the bell, Nitalya came down to the ring and put Rousey into the sharpshooter; a sharpshooter so sharp and/or shooter that the Smackdown Woman's Championship had to see the trainer with what was described as a serious injury.

Will Ronda Rousey be healthy enough to compete in Money in the Bank at full strength, or did Natalya just secure herself a major advantage ahead of her big WWE match in Vegas? Probably the former, but hey, only time will tell.
