Anthony Mackie's Sam Wilson fully-embraced his future as the new Captain America by the end of Falcon and The Winter Soldier, complete with a brand new suit befitting the former-Falcon. With Mackie set to lead his first MCU film with Captain America: Brave New World, he looks to be getting a suit upgrade as well when he flies back to the big screen in 2025.

The newest Captain America suit was on full display in Empire Magazine's latest issue, which was packed with plenty of superhero goodness alongside coverage of Deadpool and Wolverine. Mackie's new suit appears to retain the same general design as the suit he sported in Falcon and The Winter Soldier's finale, down to the wrap-around goggles and wing-pack on his back.

One major change, though, is the suit's color scheme. While most of the previous' design featured large swaths of white along the upper body, the new design trades the white for a more uniform blue that's reminiscent of Steve Rogers' suit in Avengers: Endgame.

An additional detail making the rounds on social media was the new helmet Sam Wilson will be sporting as Captain America. Its in-keeping with his history as a pararescue in the U.S. Air Force and will allow Wilson to fly higher and faster than he could with just the goggles.

The reveal follows several weeks of Wilson and other characters from Brave New World having their design's possibly leaked from promotional material planned for the film. Red Hulk, in particular, has been one who has fallen victim to these alleged leaks more than another of the other characters confirmed for Brave New World.

Red Hulk, better known as Thaddeus “Thunderbolt” Ross, will be portrayed by Harrison Ford, who is stepping in to the role after the passing of actor William Hurt in 2022.

Brave New World indeed

By the start of Brave New World, Ross has been elected President of the United States and will reportedly ask to work with Wilson in rebuilding the Avengers following the events of Endgame, the deaths of Natasha Romanoff and Tony Stark, and Steve Rogers remaining with Peggy Carter after returning to the Infinity Stones to their places in the timeline.

It had also been hinted before filming began that Brave New World would see the MCU debut of Red Hulk, though direct confirmation was never given. While Marvel Studios has continued to stay silent on this, images of Red Hulk have since appeared in leaked Lego sets, McDonald's toys, and promotional material for the latest Captain America film.

These same leaks have also given fans potential looks at what some other characters in the film will look like, including the new Falcon portrayed by Danny Ramirez.

Ramirez made his respective MCU debut in Falcon and The Winter Soldier as Lt. Joaquin Torres, who helped Wilson with suit maintenance and intelligence gathering for missions. He is set to take over the mantle of Falcon, complete with a new wingsuit of his own.

Captain America: Brave New World is scheduled to release in theaters on February 14, 2025.
