The 10th week of the NFL season is finally upon us. That means the fantasy football playoffs are looming. To get ready, there are players on your roster you've been keeping on your bench in hopes they can turn it around.

While they are wasting time as one of your reserves, there are players that could be added instead of them. Here are 10 players that you should drop in favor of getting someone else on the waiver wire in Week 10.

10. Packers' Geronimo Allison (22.8 percent owned)

The Green Bay Packers finally got Davante Adams back in Week 9 after he missed a month of action due to a toe injury. With his return, Green Bay will no longer rely upon the likes of Marquez Valdes-Scantling or Geronimo Allison.

Of those two, Valdes-Scantling is the only one worth spending a roster spot on at this point of the season. Even while Adams was out, Allison never had more than five fantasy points.

9. Cowboys' Randall Cobb (18.1 percent owned)

Speaking about Packers, the former Green Bay receiver, Randall Cobb hasn't adjusted to his new role with the Dallas Cowboys. The veteran wideout signed with Dallas in the offseason to be a reliable option for Dak Prescott.

On Monday night, Cobb had six receptions but only managed to turn that into 35 yards. In addition, he only has one touchdown on the year and that came in Week 1.

8. Steelers' James Washington (19.2 percent owned)

When Ben Roethlisberger went down with an injury, JuJu Smith-Schuster wasn't the only one who took a hit in their production. Along with Smith-Schuster, James Washington also suffered.

The second-year wideout is coming off of his best game of the year, where he only had 8.9 fantasy points.

7. Bengals' Auden Tate (24.1 percent owned)

As the Cincinnati Bengals prepare to square off against the Baltimore Ravens in Week 10, they will have A.J. Green in their offense for the first time in 2019. Due to his return, Auden Tate will now have a lessened role in Cincinnati's offense.

Also, with the team deciding to bench Andy Dalton in favor of rookie Ryan Finley, there's no telling what the offense will look like. Besides Tyler Boyd and Green, there's not a valid reason to keeping ahold of a Bengals wideout.

6. Bears' Mitchell Trubisky (21.6 percent owned)

For the 21.6 percent of people who have Mitchell Trubisky on your roster, there is only one question that needs to be asked. Why? Unless you're in a two-quarterback, 14-team league, there's absolutely no justification for having him wasting a valuable roster.

The Chicago Bears' offense has mightily struggled and Trubisky is the main reason why.

5. Buccaneers' O.J. Howard (42.2 percent owned)

If you were to create a list of the most disappointing players in fantasy football for 2019, O.J. Howard would be near the top. Howard is still supremely gifted, but his usage in Bruce Arians' offense has made him irrelevant in fantasy.

Unless you're hoping he breaks out against the Arizona Cardinals in Week 10, there's no need to hold out hope any longer.

4. Browns' Baker Mayfield (49.4 percent owned)

Right up there with Howard, Baker Mayfield has been utterly dreadful for fantasy football players this season. The Cleveland Browns' quarterback was taken earlier than most quarterbacks in drafts and has nothing to show for it.

With how dysfunctional the Browns are, there's no reason to trust Mayfield (even if he plays the Bengals twice to end the season).

3. Buccaneers' Peyton Barber (47.3 percent owned)

Following the Tampa Bay Buccaneers' loss on Sunday, Bruce Arians stated that Ronald Jones is the team's starting running back moving forward. With that news, Peyton Barber is no longer worth rostering for the rest of the season.

The one and only reason why you would keep Barber on your roster is to have Jones' handcuff for some insurance.

2. Chiefs' LeSean McCoy (80.9 percent owned)

Since the beginning of the season, the Kansas City Chiefs' backfield has been hard to gauge. No one has been consistent, but it appears Damien Williams has earned the right to be the de facto starter.

LeSean McCoy hasn't scored more than eight fantasy points since Week 4. His role in the offense has been minimal in recent weeks.

1. Bears' Tarik Cohen (67.9 percent owned)

Due to Trubisky's inability to perform well under center, Tarik Cohen is no longer a viable option in fantasy. The days of Cohen double-digit fantasy points are long gone.

The dynamic running back has just one touchdown in 2019. David Montgomery owns most of the backfield touches.
