The Green Bay Packers have had an eventful offseason amid all the shocking moves around the NFL. Quarterback Aaron Rodgers announced his return to the Pack, which was a sign of relief for fans.

The happiness didn't last long, as superstar wide receiver Davante Adams got traded to the Las Vegas Raiders for a first-round pick and second-round pick in 2022. Green Bay tried to pay up to keep Adams, but he wanted to go play with Derek Carr.

It was a tough blow for the Packers, but the draft picks give them the flexibility to make some upgrades.

The biggest need for Green Bay is wide receiver, as they have lost Adams and Marquez Valdes-Scantling. Luckily, they have plenty of options.

The draft class is loaded with talented receivers, and the Packers could snag one with one of their draft picks. There are also receivers in trade rumors, such as DK Metcalf, Tyler Lockett, and DeVante Parker. Free agency still has viable options, including Jarvis Landry, Odell Beckham Jr., and Julio Jones.

Green Bay's roster is still talented, and a few moves will put them right back into Super Bowl contention.

2 Moves Packers Must Make

2. Draft Bernhard Raimann

While the top priority is getting Rodgers receiving help, the Packers need to protect him. Veteran right tackle Billy Turner was released, which leaves a gaping hole at that position.

The Packers have two picks in the first round, with the 22nd (via LV) and the 28th pick. The 22nd pick will likely be used on a wide receiver, but using the 28th pick on a right tackle will be highly beneficial.

This draft has multiple talented first-round talents at tackle who could be building blocks for now and the future. The top tackles will likely be off the board, but Bernhard Raimann could be available.

Raimann is great at setting the edge, which will help in the run and quick screen game. He is also great at sliding in pass protection, which gives his quarterback more time to deliver in the pocket. The offense could reach a new level with a solidified offensive line.

1. Trade for DeVante Parker

DeVante Parker has been in trade rumors and would be a fantastic fit in the Green Bay offense. The Miami Dolphins recently acquired Tyreek Hill and already have Jaylen Waddle at wideout. They also signed Cedrick Wilson to a three-year deal, which leaves Parker as a trade candidate.

With increased draft capital from the Adams trade, the Packers have the flexibility to make a move for him. Parker is a great talent but is coming off two disappointing seasons. Some of that can be attributed to injuries and a lack of continuity in the Dolphins' offense.

In 2019, he finished with 72 receptions for 1,202 yards and nine touchdowns. Last season, he only had 40 receptions for 515 yards and two touchdowns.

Playing with Rodgers would elevate his production to the level he was at in 2019. Parker is a big receiver who can win jump balls downfield, leading to a more explosive offense. Matt LaFleur will be able to dial up plays for Parker, and drafting a receiver would compliment him.

Chris Olave could be a good fit next to Parker if he falls to the 22nd pick.

The rushing attack of Aaron Jones and AJ Dillon will be potent and set up the passing offense.

Green Bay needs to make some moves, but a good offseason will put them back on track to compete for a Super Bowl title.
