The Green Bay Packers have already had quite the interesting offseason as future Pro Football Hall of Fame quarterback Aaron Rodgers is officially back in the mix with All-Pro wide receiver Davante Adams also agreeing to play nice with the team's front office. Fresh off a season in which the Packers reached the NFC Championship Game before coming up short against the eventual Super Bowl Champion Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Green Bay is now primed to return to glory in 2021-22 in what could be the last hoorah as a member of the heralded NFC North franchise for the aforementioned Rodgers.

With the tandem of Rodgers and Adams slated to lead the way on offense alongside Pro Bowl running back Aaron Jones, who has notably retained this offseason, it will be key for the team's role players to play their part as well. With Rodgers gearing up to enter the upcoming 2021-22 campaign as the league's reigning MVP, there is no reason that the veteran signal-caller will fall off in any way as Adams and Jones seem just to be getting started atop the highest level.

A deep and talented offense paired with a stout defense, the Packers should quickly become one of the best team's in the NFL in 2021-22. However, it will be interesting to see how the rest of the team's roster shakes out behind its superstars as a few starters could be replaced before the end of training camp. Thanks to the team's depth on offense, head coach Matt LaFleur will have some intriguing decisions in the coming weeks — especially at the wide receiver position and along the offensive front.

2. Marquez Valdes-Scantling, WR / Randall Cobb, WR

The Green Bay Packers somehow did enough to bring back disgruntled quarterback Aaron Rodgers for at least one more season despite the future Pro Football Hall of Fame signal-caller being quite unhappy with the franchise's front office. Even though this appears to be Rodgers' last go-round in Green Bay unless something drastically changes before the end of the upcoming 2021-22 season, the Packers continue to do all they can to ensure that the reigning NFL MVP remains content.

Perhaps most notably this offseason, the Packers acquired Houston Texans wide receiver Randall Cobb en route to reuniting the veteran pass-catcher with Rodgers. Of course, Cobb infamously spent the first eight seasons of his NFL playing career as a member of the Packers before fitting up for both the Texans and Dallas Cowboys. A Pro Bowler back in 2014, Cobb was originally selected by the Packers in the second round of the 2011 NFL Draft out of Kentucky. With all of that in mind, especially Rodgers' showing immense interest in bringing back his old friend, expect Cobb to potentially start in the slot for the Packers to begin the 2021-22 regular season.

Cobb should start beside the tandem of fellow Packers wide receiver Davante Adams and Allen Lazard, with Marquez Valdes-Scantling likely siding into the fourth wideout spot. Regardless of who starts, all four pass-catchers will receive substantial playing time alongside tight end Robert Tonyan. It will then be down to Equanimeous St. Brown and Amari Rodgers for what could be the final wide receiver spot on the Packers' final 53-man roster.

1. Lucas Patrick, G / Billy Turner, OT / Dennis Kelly, OL

As it stands today, the Green Bay Packers have Lucas Patrick tabbed as the team's starting right guard. With Patrick possessing the ability to play multiple possessions along the interior, his versatility will undoubtedly come in to play for the Packers this season. At the same time, depth is quite important with a 17th regular-season game added to the schedule. However, the team's depth goes way past the presence of Patrick as veteran NFL guard Billy Turner and former Tennessee Titans starting right tackle Dennis Kelly are also in the mix for Green Bay on the right side of the offensive line.

Thanks to the experience of Turner and Kelly, Patrick will surely be the odd man out along the right side for the Packers if training camp goes as expected. Turner is currently slotted in as the team's starting right tackle but is a more natural fit at guard. For that reason, Turner should slide inside with Kelly returning to his most comfortable position as a right tackle. Kelly started for the defending AFC South Champion Titans at this very position in 2020-21 as All-Pro running back Derrick Henry infamously rushed for more than 2,000 yards.
