Scottie Barnes, a 5-star forward in the 2020 recruiting class, has set his official visit to Kentucky for next weekend, according to Ben Roberts of the Lexington Herald-Leader.

The 6-8 small forward, who attends Montverde Academy in Florida, continues to be a priority target for John Calipari and company as they try to lure another top talent to Lexington.

Barnes named his top eight schools back in February, with Cal, Duke, Florida State, Kansas, Miami, Ohio State, and Oregon joining the Wildcats on the list.

He is rated as the No. 3 small forward and No. 9 player overall in the 2020 class, according to 247Sports.

Calipari has already landed four commitments for next year's class, with 5-stars Terrence Clark and BJ Boston, and 4-stars Lance Ware and Cam'Ron Fletcher set to join the program.

The Wildcats will tip off their new season on Nov. 5 against Michigan State in the Champions Classic.
