The Western Conference Finals are nearly set as the Utah Jazz take on the Los Angeles Clippers in a do-or-die Game 6 matchup. We watched Paul George carry the Clippers to the victory with Kawhi Leonard sidelined due to a knee injury. It was an impressive performance, but the Jazz will come out swinging in the next game to avoid elimination.

The Jazz didn't quite look like themselves on Wednesday night. They shot below their year average from beyond the arc and struggled from the free-throw line (shot just 70.4%). Utah should be able to bounce back in both of those categories, but the question remains, will it be enough?

Game 6 will provide a ton of answers for NBA fans. We witnessed Playoff P's arrival in the 2021 NBA postseason, and another strong performance would suggest he's here for the long run. On top of that, Utah should bounce back to cause mayhem for the Clippers, if they don't, their season will be over. At the end of the day, Game 6 should come down to the wire as both teams fight for the NBA title. With that said, here are three bold predictions for the Jazz-Clippers Game 6 matchup.

Playoff P is here to stay

He came, he saw, he conquered Game 5. Paul George went off for 37 points, 16 rebounds, and five assists in a truly dominant performance. The Jazz had no answers for Playoff P, as he did whatever he wanted on the court on Wednesday night. This was the type of performance George needed to shift the narrative of his career. Another night like that and closing out the first placed Utah Jazz would surely mean Playoff P is here is to stay.

Of course, he'll need his teammates to step up as well, but if George puts on another performance as he had in Game 5, the Clippers will be an incredibly tough out. Utah has its hands full heading into Game 6 and needs to find a way to slow down George. If they don't, the Clippers will advance to the next round.

The Jazz shoot over 45% from beyond the arc

The Jazz shot 37% from the three-point line in Game 5, which is well below their yearly average. This hurt Utah a ton and played a huge part in losing the game to Los Angeles. On top of that, star guard Donovan Mitchell finished with just 21 points, five rebounds, and five assists. He'll need to elevate his game and knock down his threes if Utah hopes to keep their playoff hopes alive in this Clippers series.

Teams tend to live or die by the three, and it's all about the law of averages. After struggling from deep in Game 5, it's very plausible the Jazz light it up on Friday night. If that's the case, look for the Utah Jazz to keep this game close throughout, as their three-point shooting should keep them in the competition.

Paul George hits a game-winner

We're seeing some high-quality basketball from both of these organizations. For that reason, Game 6 could come down to the wire with the final shot being the deciding factor. After his dominating performance in Game 5, look for the Clippers to lean on Paul George again. If it comes down to who has the last shot, LA should put the ball in George's hands.
