Cam Reddish of the Atlanta Hawks has been rumored to potentially be one of the players that Atlanta is looking to move at the NBA Trade Deadline. It is questionable why the Hawks would get rid of a 22-year-old who has shown that he can be an elite defender and also be a quality scorer in this league. He has had some issues of staying healthy throughout his young career, but he still has been able to manage to score 11.1 points per game while playing more than serviceable defense.

It has been reported that Atlanta is only open to trading Reddish for just a first-round pick. Many teams have a first-round pick so everybody who does should be on the phone making a call to Atlanta. He is too good of a player to only have to give up a first-round pick. There has to be something behind closed doors that no one knows about because Atlanta should never want to trade somebody of this caliber for little to no return.

There are some teams that he would be perfect with. Whether that be him coming in and making an immediate impact, or going to a team where he can fully develop and turn into the star that he has the potential to be. Many teams are going to be making a phone call to Atlanta so let's take a look at four teams who should pick up the phone and try to get a deal done for Cam Reddish.

Cam Reddish NBA Trade Deadline

4. Milwaukee Bucks

Cam Reddish for Donte DiVincenzo would be a perfect scenario for both teams. DiVincenzo has found a replacement in Milwaukee in Grayson Allen but Milwaukee could still use somebody who can defend at a high level for multiple positions on the court. DiVincenzo is an incredible defender but he only guards the 1-3 position while Reddish offers  6 ft 8 height and a 7 ft 11 wingspan that can guard anywhere from the 1-5 position.

The Hawks could also use DiVincenzo because he would be somebody who can come in and defend at a high level for their guard positions, which is something that they desperately need. Both sides would benefit from this deal and it wouldn't be shocking to see them do a swap. If Atlanta only wants a draft pick back, Reddish to Milwaukee would not be a thing because the Bucks do not have many draft picks for the next five or so years.

3. Oklahoma City Thunder

Although the Oklahoma City Thunder are not in a place to compete anytime soon, adding a player like Reddish could be exactly what they need. They certainly have enough first-round picks to throw out to the Hawks if they do want to make a move. This could also be the perfect scenario for him to come in and develop his game to be the star that he has the potential to be. Putting him alongside guys like Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Josh Giddey could be perfect for him. He also fits exactly what they need because he is still only 22 years old. A team that's going through a rebuild like the Thunder should always take advantage of bringing in a player who could speed that process up.

The reality is that Oklahoma City will probably not find a guy as good as Cam Reddish in one of the next few drafts. It would make sense if they did trade one of the many first-round picks that they have and get the deal done with the Hawks.

2. Brooklyn Nets

This would again have to be a player-for-player trade as the Brooklyn Nets do not have many draft picks that they can use as a trade asset. The Nets clearly need help on the defensive side of the ball and adding Cam Reddish could be perfect for this team. He has proven that he can defend at a high level and in the playoffs that is going to be the biggest concern for this Nets team.

Brooklyn still has nobody who can contain a guy like Giannis Antetokounmpo and with the way that the Chicago Bulls have been playing as of late, they will also have to worry about them with DeMar DeRozan and Zach LaVine. Reddish could be the perfect guy for that and Brooklyn should think about adding the young talented forward.

1. Los Angeles Lakers

The Los Angeles Lakers could be a good side for both parties. Cam Reddish would be able to play next to future Hall of Famers and develop faster than he would anywhere else. Playing with guys like LeBron James, Anthony Davis, Russell Westbrook, Dwight Howard, and many other veterans that the Lakers have is always going to be a great thing for a young player's future.

He could also benefit the Lakers because he is young and they desperately need somebody who can come in and play 30-plus minutes a night, He would allow some of the other guys to not put as much stress on their bodies before the playoffs.
