The Dallas Cowboys will head back home in Week 5 to square off against the Green Bay Packers. Both teams are coming off their first loss of the season in Week 4.

The Cowboys began the season on a blazing start in Kellen Moore's new-look offense. Dak Prescott was nearly perfect in the first three games as he threw for 920 yards, nine touchdowns, and two interceptions.

Along with Prescott, Ezekiel Elliott was getting his footing in the new offense with 289 yards and two touchdowns in the first three weeks of the season. Then, Prescott and Elliott were held in check versus the New Orleans Saints in Week 4.

The Cowboys quarterback had his worst game of the season with 223 yards and an interception. As for Elliott, the All-Pro running back carried it 18 times but he turned those rushing attempts into just 35 yards on the ground.

Now, Dallas is ready to get their offense back on track against a Packers defense that was reeling in Week 4 against the Philadelphia Eagles. With that in mind, here are four reasons why the Cowboys will defeat the Packers in Week 5.

4. Dallas Can Contain Aaron Jones

With rookie head coach Matt LaFleur, the Packers are attempting to become more balanced on offense. As a result, LaFleur has been trying to get Aaron Jones incorporated into the often as much as possible.

As much as they've tried to get him going, Jones has just 195 yards on 59 attempts (3.3 yards per carry) this season. However, Jones is a talented running back who has found the end zone four times this season.

The Cowboys definitely have the front seven on defense that can contain the Packers running game. With Jaylon Smith and Leighton Vander Esch patrolling the field, Dallas has surrendered just 96.8 rushing yards per game.

3. Cowboys Get Michael Gallup Back

To begin the season, the Cowboys pass offense was rolling on all cylinders. Of course, Amari Cooper was thriving in the pass-friendly offense but Michael Gallup was showing improvements on the other side of the field.

In the two games that the second-year wide receiver was healthy for, he was able to combine for 13 receptions for 226 yards. While he was out with an injury, the Cowboys passing attack wasn't nearly as dangerous.

Now, in Week 5, Dallas is expected to get Gallup back in the offense after missing the past two games. With him being available, Prescott should be able to have a better chance to succeed against the Packers on Sunday.

2. Davante Adams Is Likely Out

Last week, Davante Adams was on his way to having a remarkable performance before he made an early exit with a toe injury. Throughout this week, the Packers Pro-Bowl wide receiver has failed to log a practice and his status for Sunday is trending downwards.

In light of that, the Cowboys defense will be going against a young receiving corps that hasn't proven themselves yet. If Adams is indeed out, Green Bay will rely on Marquez Valdes-Scantling and Geronimo Allison at wide receiver.

Dallas would likely put Byron Jones on Valdes-Scantling and make the other receivers beat them. Yes, Aaron Rodgers is phenomenal but he won't have reliable options to target on Sunday without Adams on the field.

1. Zeke Will Eat

Over the first month of the season, everyone spoke about the noticeable improvements made on the defensive side of the ball for the Packers. As good as their pass defense has been, their run defense has been less-than-stellar to begin the season.

The Packers have allowed 142.3 rushing yards per game; which definitely bodes well for Elliott and the Cowboys offensive line. Just last week, Green Bay was gashed by the Eagles rushing attack for 176 yards and two touchdowns.

Considering that, Dallas' offensive line should dominate in the trenches to create gaping holes to run through. As a result, Zeke will be eating his way to over 100 yards and will take control of the game on the ground.
