The Philadelphia Eagles can take control of the NFC East with a win on Sunday against the Dallas Cowboys. The Eagles are the underdog in this game, but Vegas has got this one all wrong. Let's breakdown four reasons the Eagles will defeat the Cowboys, and ultimately win their division.

4. Coaching advantage

Doug Pederson hasn't pushed all the right buttons this season, but he is still a big upgrade over Jason Garrett. Garrett is nothing more than a puppet for Jerry Jones. He does very little coaching on the sideline unless you consider clapping on the sidelines coaching.

Late in the game when crucial decisions are needed, Garrett has failed time and time again. If this game comes down to one of those important decisions, Pederson is going to have a big upper hand.

3. Carson Wentz and Greg Ward Jr.

With all the injuries to wide receivers, the Eagles have had trouble finding someone to step up. The last couple of weeks Carson Wentz has made Greg Ward Jr. his favorite receiver and they should be in line for another big game.

Ward in the last game against the Washington Redskins caught seven passes for 61 yards and a touchdown. in each of the last two games, Wentz has targeted him nine times.

This is also a crucial game, and Wentz has been known for stepping up during the biggest moments. Late in the game, Wentz is going to look Ward's way a lot and that is advantage Eagles.

2. Dak Prescott

Dak Prescott is dealing with an AC joint sprain and even though he and the team are trying to downplay it, there is no chance he is going to be close to 100 percent. The big weakness of the Eagles defense is their secondary but with Prescott's injury shoulder he is going to have trouble attacking it.

With Prescott's inability to throw the ball, it's going to allow the Eagles to stack the box and also take away the run. The Eagles defense has been nothing to write home about, but they should be good in this game.

1. Miles Sanders

The Philadelphia Eagles have not been using Miles Sanders properly for most of the season but it seems the team finally realizes what they have with the former Penn State standout.

Against the Washington Redskins, Sanders rushed 19 times for 122 yards and a touchdown. He also caught six receptions for 50 yards and a touchdown. This is a game where the Eagles want to bleed the clock which means Sanders is going to have a lot of chances to run the ball.

The more touches he gets the better the chance he breaks a big one, and he should have one or two of those in this game. All eyes are going to be on this game, and Sanders is going to have his big breakout.

The future is bright for the Eagles with Sanders as the number one back. After his performance in this game, he is going to be ready for another big game in the playoffs.
