Emmanuel Sanders appears to be willing to re-sign with the San Francisco 49ers.

The 32-year-old veteran will be a free agent this offseason after appearing in 10 games for the Niners. Sanders was traded from the Denver Broncos after spending the past six seasons there. The former Super Bowl champion proved to be a steady presence for San Francisco, posting 36 receptions for 502 yards and three touchdowns.

With his future in San Francisco uncertain, Sanders stressed that he wants to come back for a second season, via Nick Wagoner of ESPN.

“At the end of the day, I enjoyed this season. I love the Niners organization, so we’re going to see what’s to happen.” Sanders said he hasn't turned his thoughts from Super Bowl to free agency yet, but will soon.”

He also appeared to be rejuvenated playing for the Niners and Jimmy Garoppolo. The 5-foot-11 receiver posted 13.9 yards per reception — the second highest average of his career.

Needless to say, Garoppolo expressed how he wants his veteran receiver back.

Via 95.7 The Game:

You can’t even describe it,” Garoppolo told reporters Wednesday during the team’s locker room cleanout. “Just what E did. Coming in the way he did. Never asking for the ball, never doing too much. He was exactly what we needed on this team. That veteran presence for the younger receivers, for just everyone, myself included. Everything he did he did it with class, I couldn’t ask for a better teammate.

“I would love to have E back in every way – like I said before – all the good things he did for us. But we’ll see what happens. He’s one of a kind, love that guy.”

We'll see if the Niners values Sanders as much as Garoppolo does.
