Adam Thielen has shocked the world with his performance this season, and he's on pace to break a few records with the Minnesota Vikings. Thielen recorded 11 receptions for 123 yards and a touchdown in his team's 27-17 win over the Arizona Cardinals. According to NFL insider Ian Rapoport, this marked his sixth consecutive 100 yard receiving game. Only four players in NFL history have longer streaks doing this, and Thielen could put his name at the top of this list before it's all said and done.

The fifth-year wide receiver isn't new to the Vikings. He's been with the team since 2014. The 58 receptions he's recorded this season lead the NFL. This is over half what he totaled last year. He's on track to break Marvin Harrison's single-season reception record of 143. His 712 receiving yards also lead the league. It's hard to believe that an undrafted player like him was able to reach such success in his home state.

“I’ve never really thought about it,” Thielen told TwinCities.com. “I still don’t really think about it. I just come to work every day. It was the same thing when I was in college. I just love to play the game of football. I never really worried about how far it was going to take me. I just wanted to play the game as long as I could. I appreciate the opportunity this organization has given me, and I hope to continue to come out here and do my best.”

Kirk Cousins and Adam Thielen seem to be a perfect match, and the duo will take on the New York Jets in Week 7. If Thielen extends his streak, he'll be one step closer to a great accomplishment.
