Andre Iguodala is one of the most well-respected veterans in the league right now. The Golden State Warriors elder statesman is one of just three players left from the 2004 NBA draft and has been in the league for quite some time now. That's why his most recent Giannis Antetokounmpo hot take will certainly turn a few heads.
According to Iguodala, Detroit Pistons legend Rasheed Wallace not only would have been perfect for the modern NBA – Iggy thinks Sheed would have been better than the Milwaukee Bucks franchise star.
In his latest appearance on The Dan Le Batard Show with Stugotz, Andre Iguodala dropped his take that likely won't endear himself to Giannis.

“Rasheed Wallace probably could have been a top-five player in the league for a 10-year stretch,” Iguodala said on the show. “He was shooting half-court shots left-handed and right-handed.”
“If Rasheed Wallace played in modern-day basketball, if he played in our league today, he’d be a top-five player. He’d be better than Giannis and I love Giannis.”
Rasheed Wallace was no slouch given that he's a four-time All-Star and was the fiery presence behind the 2004 Detroit Pistons title. His long-range shooting likely would have been utilized for better in the modern game than back then. But better than Giannis Antetokounmpo? That's certainly a tough sell.
Sheed was a 33.6 percent three-point shooter for his career and never even averaged 20 points once throughout his 16-year career. Giannis, meanwhile, already has two MVP awards and an NBA championship under his belt wherein he was the clear-cut best player on the team. He's also owns a Defensive Player of the Year plum, which for as stout a defender as Wallace was, he never gained much consideration for.
Given that Giannis Antetokounmpo is still right within his prime at 27 years old once next season begins, we likely haven't even seen his best form just yet. Andre Iguodala's already wild take could become even crazier if the Greek Freak takes things to another level.
