This offseason the Golden State Warriors made one of the most colossal acquisitions in recent years, and their players are not remotely trying to downplay that.

Warriors sixth man Andre Iguodala did not shy away from discussing the impact that new signing Kevin Durant brings to the team.

“There were some holes and some weaknesses that we had and we got a monster that filled them all.” Iguodala told Michael Lee of The Vertical. “We got a monster on our team right now.”

Durant's mix of length, size, athleticism and killer instinct is the ultimate upgrade from a role player in Harrison Barnes.

He is a seasoned veteran who's honed his game each and every offseason and has become an improved passer, defender and decision-maker since the start of his career. He now brings that to an offense that prides itself on getting the best shot available and a defense that touts a versatile style of defending where every man can guard every position as long as there's voices talking.

While Kevin Durant's welcome comes with a myriad of goodbyes, resulting in a much-thinner bench, it's up to head coach Steve Kerr and his staff to shuffle the deck and make it work. There isn't a more talented starting unit in the league right now.
