The Atlanta Falcons will host the New York Jets on Sunday morning in the first London game since 2019. This matchup has potential for excitement and will be a great way to kick off Sunday's games as we enter Week 5.

Both of these teams have had their fair share of struggles. The Jets are coming off their first win of the season. The Falcons barely lost last week to the Washington Football Team. Two 1-3 teams are ready to battle it out in London. This matchup promises to be entertaining and should be a very solid game.

So, let's take a look at four bold predictions for the Falcons heading into Sunday's Week 5 game against the Jets.

Falcons Week 5 Predictions

4. Matt Ryan will pick apart the Jets

The veteran quarterback has been having a very solid 2021 campaign. He has had to do a lot of work for the team, but has managed to still put up decent numbers. Ryan keeps the Falcons in games in spite of their defensive woes.

Entering Week 5, he will face off against a Jets defense that has been doing pretty well in 2021. Matt Ryan went off last week and threw for nearly 300 yards and four touchdowns. He will look to carry that poise and confidence into this Week 5 matchup.

Falcons receivers are starting to look better and the offense might finally be picking up steam. Matt Ryan should be able to hold his own and give his team a good chance at winning this game.

3. The Falcons will intercept Zach Wilson

The Jets rookie is coming off the best game of his short career. With that said, he has yet to not throw an interception this season. It always takes time for rookie quarterbacks to find their confidence, and the Falcons' defense will capitalize on this.

Atlanta's defense has been nothing to write home about this season, but a matchup with the Jets is a favorable one. Beyond simply intercepting the Wilson, the Falcons should be able to hold their own on the defensive end.

While it's not truly a home game for Atlanta, their defense will come up big. The Jets' offense has been one of the worst in the league. Atlanta's defense will play an important role in helping their team try and score a win in London.

2. Calvin Ridley will continue to struggle

People took notice of Calvin Ridley after last year's breakout season. The young receiver made it clear that he is a true WR1. This has caused teams to game plan as such and has impacted Ridley's performance in 2021.

Calvin Ridley has yet to break 10 receptions or 100 yards in any game this season. He is facing tough defensive matchups and is being game planned for like never before. He is still extremely talented and should not be ignored, but it seems like his struggles will continue.

Ridley is the biggest offensive threat on the Falcons. The Jets are definitely circling his name in preparation for this matchup. While he always has the potential to make big plays, Ridley will have a tough time against New York.

1. Cordarrelle Patterson will keep his hot streak alive

Cordarrelle Patterson can do it all. He can run the ball, catch the ball, and, perhaps what he is best known for, return kickoffs. Patterson has found an unlikely home in Atlanta and has been capitalizing on the opportunity.

In Week 4, the ninth-year veteran went off. Patterson had over 100 scrimmage yards and three touchdowns. While defenses are distracted by Ridley, Patterson has been able to do it all in 2021. He is used as both a running back and receiver and is a Swiss Army knife for this Falcons team.

The Jets will have a hard time game planning for someone with Patterson's skill set. He will look to keep his hot streak alive in Week 5 and help notch a victory for Atlanta.
