Pressure has once again mounted on manager Ronald Koeman following Barcelona's scoreless draw result against Cadiz in La Liga play.

The match for Barca was filled with frustrations, both on and off the pitch. The likes of Memphis Depay and Frenkie de Jong failed to convert on their high-percentage goal-scoring chances. More so, Koeman was issued a red card over the late stages of the contest, which will see him be banned from the touchline for the team's upcoming league fixture against Levante.

After the match, Koeman had mixed feelings on what transpired over the course of the contest. While Barcelona did relentlessly push to score a goal, the team whiffed on several key chances.

In speaking after the match, Koeman reflected on this draw result, where he once again touched on his future with the club by providing one simplistic answer to this matter.

“I think we have to analyze what the team has done, the attitude, the commitment,” Koeman said. “I can't complain about anything. I'm unhappy because we had four or five clear chances and didn't score. Playing with one less player in the last 25 matches has made it difficult for us. But that's what I'll take from the attitude with one less.

“I don't focus on my personal situation. If I win, I continue and if I lose, we have to look for another coach. It's for you.”

The topic of Koeman's short-term future with the Catalan giants has been a talking point around the club as of late.

Amid calls for Barca club officials to sack him, the Dutch manager recently read out a statement during a press conference where he noted that the team “must be supported” at this time.

Ahead of the matchup against Cadiz, Barca president Joan Laporta revealed that the club is behind Koeman, but refused to make a declaration on the manager's long-term status with the team.

While numerous names have been linked as possible replacements for Koeman, he is still the manager of Barca for the time being.
