Not that the Chicago Bears needed any extra motivation for their game against the Green Bay Packers, but according to Akiem Hicks, Aaron Rodgers gave them just that during Week 12.

After the Packers lost to the Minnesota Vikings, Rodgers said that the team needed to win out to make the playoffs and explained how one of those games was at Soldier Field, a place he has won quite a few times.

Those comments didn't sit well with this year's Bears team, according to Hicks, who was doing an interview on 670 The Score.

“Nobody forgot Aaron’s little comments after they lost that big game where he said, ‘All we got to do is win out, and go to Soldier Field and win like we’ve done a bunch in the past,'” Hicks said during an appearance on 670 The Score via Pro Football Talk. “I’m real excited for Aaron to come down here and play this game.”

Rodgers and the Packers lost the next game and the dream of winning out was gone and the Bears are hoping to hand him his this third loss in four games.

Rodgers was correct in his comments about the Packers winning a lot of games at Soldiers Field. The last time the Bears beat the Packers at Soldier Field was in 2010 and it's going to be an uphill battle on Sunday. Rodgers always seems to rise to the occasion against the Bears, although this is a different defense than he has faced the last few years.
