The Chicago Bears just can't catch a break. Chicago is now going to be without quarterback Justin fields for Thursday's contest against the Detroit Lions.

Justin Fields is dealing with a rib injury and he spent Monday undergoing further testing and the turnaround is too quick for him to recover. Andy Dalton is expected to start in his replacement.

It seems as everything just keeps falling apart in Chicago. They are already struggling throughout the year as they sit at 3-7 on the season. Whether it be because of them having a young quarterback, or head coach Matt Nagy not being the man for the job, the Bears have struggled mightily.

Things are eventually going to get better in Chicago. The Bears have a young team with some talented weapons. Justin Fields is going to be a good quarterback in the NFL. He has wide receivers like Allen Robinson around him who will help him eventually find success.

This is going to be a tough game for the Bears now as they already have a struggling offense. It's only going to struggle more without their starting quarterback. Detroit is 0-9-1 on the season and they might pick up their first win against the Bears on Thursday. This would be an embarrassing loss for the Bears but from the look of things right now, it seems that it's a real possibility.

There is no timetable for Justin Fields' return. It's going to be something to keep an eye on for the future.
