The Chicago Bears defensive line has gotten better with the team adding former Dallas Cowboys standout Robert Quinn on a five-year deal worth $70 million, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Media.

With the Bears adding Quinn, they are moving on from former first-round pick, Leonard Floyd, according to Rapoport. Floyd was in line for a $13.2 million fifth-year option in 2020, but by releasing him, they will be off the hook for the salary.

There was some speculation that the Cowboys could bring back Quinn, but it's hard to commit that type of money to him with all the money going towards Dak Prescott, Amari Cooper, and Ezekiel Elliott.

Quinn started his career in 2011 with the St. Louis Rams, but in 2015 and 2016 he had issues staying on the field. The Rams traded Quinn to the Miami Dolphins before the 2018 season.

The play on the field with the Dolphins didn't stand out, but he stayed healthy, which was enough to prove he could still play in the league. During the 2019 season with the Cowboys, Quinn played in 14 games and had 11.5 sacks. He also forced two fumbles, and now he is getting rewarded for his big play.

The Bears defensive line is already solid with Khalil Mack and adding Quinn to the team is a scary thing for the rest of the NFC North and NFL.

The big question now to figure out for the Bears is what exactly are they going to do at quarterback. Will they role with Mitchell Trubisky for another season or bring in someone else new.
