Everyone is making their predictions as to who will be the starting quarterback for the Chicago Bears in the 2020 NFL season, including Los Angeles Clippers coach Doc Rivers.

The Bears made their quarterback room a lot more interesting this offseason after pulling off a trade with the Jacksonville Jaguars to acquire Foles, and that has led to plenty of speculation as to whether he will unseat Trubisky for the starting job.

And it seems that Rivers, who was born in Chicago and has been a lifelong Bears fan, is one of the people who expect Foles to ultimately win the job, according to his recent interview with ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Of course, Rivers' reasoning makes sense considering that Foles has indeed won a Super Bowl, and that's the type of experience the Bears need under center if they want to become an NFC contender once again.

However, what the Bears need most is consistency rather than playing musical chairs at quarterback the entire season. That likely has Matt Nagy and company hoping that either Foles or Trubisky steps up and takes command of the job.

Chicago finished 8-8 last season after a 12-win campaign the year prior, and while the defense is still strong, the offense is going to have to take a huge step forward for the franchise to get back on track.

The Bears will kick off the regular season on Sept. 13 in a road matchup against the Detroit Lions.
