The Chicago Bears signed Ha Ha Clinton-Dix this offseason to help replace the departed Adrian Amos at the safety position. Clinton-Dix is no stranger to the NFC North after playing four-plus seasons with the Green Bay Packers, but unlike those years he was in Green Bay, the Bears are now the team to beat in the division.

Chicago went 12-4 and had one of the best defenses in the NFL last season, and Clinton-Dix is excited to be a part of this contending club, per Chris Hays of the Orlando Sentinel:

“Man, it feels good. I’m glad to be a part of something special going on in Chicago right now,” Clinton-Dix said. “We have a chance to be special and I’m glad to be a part of this unit.”

Clinton-Dix entered the league as the 21st pick in the 2014 NFL Draft. He quickly cemented himself as a starter in the Packers' secondary, and he didn't miss a single game during his tenure in Green Bay.

The Packers then traded Clinton-Dix to the Washington Redskins in the middle of this past season. He played the last nine games of the 2018 season with the Redskins, meaning he still hasn't missed a game in his NFL career.

Between the Redskins and Packers, Clinton-Dix recorded 93 tackles and three interceptions in 2019. The Bears are hoping the 26-year-old's presence will help solidify an already elite defensive unit that became known for its playmaking ability last season.
