The Chicago Bears have been a force to be reckoned with this season, but things have been a bit shaky for the Bears since quarterback Mitch Trubisky has been recovering from a shoulder injury. The Bears suffered an unfortunate loss to the New York Giants, but that wasn't going to stop head coach Matt Nagy from praising his team.

The Bears were coming off a five-game winning streak and they are still sitting comfortably atop the NFC North at 8-4. This is the first time in years that the Bears have been in first considering it's been the Packers division for years and the Vikings as of recently.

Chicago has an elite-level defense as well as a surging offense behind one of the leagues' most promising young quarterbacks in Trubisky. The offense has looked fast and very strong with newly acquired weapons like Allen Robinson and Trey Burton. The emergence of second-year running back Tarik Cohen has given Chicago an enormous boost on offense as well as special teams.

Nagy is in his first season as head coach for the Bears, and he has far exceeded everyone's expectations aside from his own, presumably. Nagy helped make some noise prior to the season, trading for defensive superstar Khalil Mack to an already talented defense.  In addition to Mack, Eddie Jackson, Akiem Hicks, Prince Amukamara, Kyle Fuller, and young linebackers Roquan Smith and Leonard Floyd have been incredible for the Bears' defense.

Nagy will likely have a long career as the Bears' head coach if he can repeat the success he has produced this season.
