The Chicago Bears selected Justin Fields with the 11th overall pick in last month's 2021 NFL Draft as they nabbed their hopeful QB1 of the future. The team ultimately traded up from 20th to get Fields, who was one of the top quarterback prospects in this draft class.

We know that Bears fans have a bitter taste in their mouth about first-round QB's after Mitch Trubisky failed to live up to expectations after being selected with the second pick in 2017.

Nevertheless, an artist in Chicago took the time to create a beautiful portrait of Fields within the city, via BR Gridiron:

Did Trubisky ever have a portrait like that? I certainly don't think so.

There are lots of reasons for the Bears to be excited about Fields. He threw for 5,373 yards across two seasons as a Buckeye while finishing third in the Heisman Trophy voting in 2019. Fields is a tremendous athlete who has a very accurate and strong arm, while also showing the ability to get it done on the ground with his legs.

The Bears only lost a future first-rounder in order to get Fields, which doesn't seem too bad. For a team that desperately needs a franchise QB to steer the ship, the 22-year-old could very well be the answer.

Some expect Fields to start behind Andy Dalton to begin the 2021 season, but we'll have to see how long that lasts. If the rookie proves that he can compete at the NFL level, it would be no surprise to see him win the starting job not long into the upcoming campaign.
