The Chicago Bears have been a hot mess for most of this season, and a large part of that has been because of coach Matt Nagy. He's shown poor play-calling and has made multiple questionable decisions. During an interview, Nagy admits something that will make Chicago fans shake their heads.

According to Adam Hoge, Nagy claims he “should have gone for it on 4th-and-inches in the fourth quarter” against the Green Bay Packers on Sunday. The Bears were down by 11 points with the clock ticking. Considering they have a losing record, why not take the risk and go for it?

Apparently, this was something Nagy didn't think about until after the fact. Some Bears fans had to be furious with the decision to not go for it, considering they had a chance to upset the Packers. ESPN's Jen Lada responded with what most Bears might be thinking.

The Bears are not likely to make the postseason, as they're close to being eliminated from contention. Their future looks a bit murky, as the roster has some valuable assets any coach would want to work with.

However, it's not clear what the franchise plans to do with Matt Nagy. They could be searching for a new coach or for whatever reason, choose to keep him next year.

Either way, it's never a great sign when a coach makes an admission such as this. The best coaches in the league make the right decisions more often than not. It's rare to see a coach admit a fault like that to the media. For that reason, the headaches continue to pile up for the Bears, as fans eagerly await the offseason.
