The Chicago Bears lost 17-7 to the Los Angeles Rams in Week 11. What had most people talking though was the fact that Mitchell Trubisky did not finish the game.

At the time, it was unclear if he was simply benched, or if an injury had forced him out of the game. However, head coach Matt Nagy cleared up the situation after the game, saying that Trubisky had a hip pointer.

As expected, that's nothing all too serious and Trubisky should be good to go for their Week 12 matchup with the New York Giants.

Trubisky practicing in full on Thursday is not much of a surprise. The fact that no one could tell if he was hurt or not at the end of their Week 11 game was pretty telling. Clearly the injury (if there was one) was nothing too serious.

After finding out it was a hip pointer, that was proven true.

Chicago has been disappointing this season. They were supposed to be Super Bowl contenders, but are just 4-6 through the first 11 weeks of the season.

A big part of that has been Trubisky. He was a pretty popular (although still a long shot) bet for MVP. Instead, he's looked simply bad. That was a big reason why people were not 100% sure if it was an injury or a benching at the end of Week 11. No one would be all that surprised if Trubisky was benched.

However, it seems like it was indeed an injury, but an injury that won't linger. The Bears will have their quarterback for Week 12, hoping to turn the season around now, before it's officially too late.
