The Cincinnati Bengals wreaked havoc on an injury-riddled Baltimore Ravens team in Week 16, and the main talking point from the victory was the historic performance from Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow. In the win, Burrow recorded 525 passing yards, coming just 29 yards shy of the all-time single-game record. He did manage to make some level of history, however, and it's something that Ravens fans will not be very pleased to see. According to Jamison Henley, Burrow is the first player in NFL history to record multiple 400+ passing-yard games against the same team in one season.

Last time the Bengals and Ravens squared off back in Week 7, Burrow was electric en-route to a 41-17 victory. The Bengals' star threw for 416 yards and three touchdowns in the beatdown, and somehow managed to top those numbers on Sunday. In Week 16, Burrow completed 37-of-46 pass attempts for a remarkable 525 yards, four touchdowns and zero interceptions.

To say that Burrow has owned the Ravens in 2021 is an understatement. In Week 7, Burrow became just the fifth player to record 400+ passing yards and three passing touchdowns against the Ravens in franchise history. He then did it again, in the same season, just two months later.

The Ravens defense will certainly be hanging their heads after this loss, as they were simply unable to contain Burrow or the Bengals' receivers. Tee Higgins logged 12 receptions for 196 yards and two touchdowns, while JaMarr Chase hauled in seven receptions for 125 yards. Tyler Boyd and Joe Mixon also recorded receiving touchdowns in the dominant win.

Burrow has been unstoppable against the Ravens this year, and the proof is now in the history books.
