The Cincinnati Bengals were finally able to welcome their new head coach Zac Taylor on Monday, and quarterback Andy Dalton gave him a friendly greeting in the locker room.

Taylor is a day removed from his Super Bowl appearance with the Los Angeles Rams, and now that the 2018 NFL season is officially over he was able to meet his new players. Dalton will likely have a very close-knit bond with Taylor considering the quarterback position is Taylor's specialty.

Taylor did a great job with Rams quarterback Jared Goff in 2018 and now faces the task of turning the Bengals misfortunes around after numerous disappointing seasons. Cincinnati was at the bottom of the AFC North and had nearly every key offensive player go down with an injury in 2018. Wide receiver A.J. Green, tight end Tyler Eifert, as well as Dalton all, went down with significant injuries and in turn, the team struggled tremendously.

The Bengals offense could see a completely new look in 2019 with Taylor likely introducing a completely new approach. Cincinnati has plenty of potential in terms of playmakers so it'll be interesting to see how Taylor handles his first head coaching opportunity. If Cincinnati hopes to return to the postseason and find success once more, a new head coach with a great offensive vision could be the answer.

Taylor could bring the Bengals true potential out and with the weapons he has at his disposal, opposing defenses could be in trouble next season.
