Cincinnati Bengals safety and kick returner Brandon Wilson took a kickoff from New York Giants kicker Graham Gano 103 yards back to the house to tie the game up at 7-7 early in the first quarter of the Week 12 matchup at Paul Brown Stadium.

Wilson's return followed up an impressive five-minute opening drive from the Giants that resulted in a Wayne Gallman touchdown run from just a yard out.

Wilson took the kick straight back up the middle of the New York coverage team and evaded a Gano tackle on his way to the end zone.

It marked the second kick return touchdown of Wilson's four-year career. In 2019, he took a kickoff 92 yards to the house.

The Bengals (2-7-1) need all the scoring help they can get as they play their first game this season without promising rookie QB Joe Burrow under center. The No. 1 overall pick had 13 touchdowns and 2,688 passing yards in his first campaign, posting a 89.8 passer rating before suffering a devastating knee injury in Week 11.

QB Brandon Allen got his first start of the season in Burrow's absence.

Wilson's return TD should especially irk Giants head coach Joe Judge, who spent four seasons as the special teams coordinator for the New England Patriots. The Giants entered Sunday ranked fourth in the NFL in special teams DVOA.
