The NFL free agency market has been open for a couple of weeks now, and most of the big-name targets have been signed. The NFL draft is also right around the corner, as the first round takes place on April 29th. The Tennessee Titans have been busy so far, making aggressive moves to bring in help on the defensive side of the ball.

However, it seems to have cost the team to lose firepower on the offense.

The front office has signed Denico Autry and Bud Dupree to shore up the pass rush. The Titans only garnered 19 total sacks last season, making them one of the worst in the league in that department. These two big acquisitions should vastly improve the front seven. However, due to the push to upgrade the defense, Tennessee's wide receiver group took a hit.

AJ Brown is luckily still on the roster and aims to be one of the best receivers in the league next season. The front office also brought in Josh Reynolds in free agency, after spending his first four playing years with the Los Angeles Rams. But after releasing Adam Humphries, and not making any other moves for a receiver as of this article, the Titans are spread thin in the passing game for now.

It's possible the front office signs another wide receiver before the draft, but with a majority of the top talent gone, the NFL draft is where Tennessee will be finding their depth. This franchise may select multiple receivers in the draft, as this year's class is stacked with talented receivers. With that said, here are two of the top receiver options for the Tennessee Titans.

Top Reciever Options for the Titans

Rashod Bateman

Playing his collegiate career in Minnesota, Rashod Bateman enters the draft as one of the top prospects available. He only played five games last year, as COVID-19 complicated the Golden Gophers season. However, Bateman showed out, racking up 472 yards and two touchdowns off of just 36 receptions.

Bateman matches the Titans' offensive scheme perfectly. He's a solid route runner that snags the ball out of the air, then turns up the field quickly to gain yards. The foundation of Tennessee's offense is built around Yards After the Catch (YAC), and Bateman brings exactly that to the table. He has the potential to be a legitimate second option behind AJ Brown for the Titans.

Elijah Moore

Elijah Moore is another exciting prospect that has risen up draft boards recently after having a spectacular pro-day. He played for the Ole' Miss' Rebels, which is the alma mater of Titans' receiver AJ Brown. Moore played eight games last year, as the Rebels dealt with COVID-19 complications of their own. However, Moore had the best season of his collegiate career totaling 86 receptions, 1,193 yards, and eight touchdowns.

He already has chemistry-built with AJ Brown, which bodes well for his chances to be selected by Tennessee in the upcoming draft. The two have been seen hanging out this offseason, where Brown has likely given Moore some pointers about the NFL. Elijah Moore is built more like a slot receiver, but he plays much bigger than his size. He'd be the perfect rookie receiver fit the Titans' scheme for next season and beyond.
