The NFL will push through with a virtual draft from April 23-25. Many are curious to see how such a draft would look and feel like. For the Buffalo Bills and general manager Brandon Beane, there are more pressing concerns that affect them than how the draft would look like.

Beane discussed the upcoming draft. Bills Wire's Nick Wojton extensively covered his take on the first virtual draft in league history. He did reveal his excitement on testing out new technology for the draft, but he didn't ignore how the change could affect things that usually happen during the draft. He pointed to draft times and orchestration of trades as question marks moving forward.

“I don’t know exactly how that’s going to happen,” the Bills GM said. “First of all, I think you’re going to have people that are going to be a little hesitant. That are just… too many hoops to jump through.”

“We’re going to have to see how complicated is it, compared to what we’re used to, and then what about time constraints? Are there going to be any parameters in the draft, once or twice, where you can ask to be extended two minutes or something like that to execute [a trade]?”

Since this is a first for everyone, mishaps cannot be avoided. It wouldn't be weird to think that the NFL is coming into this half-expecting something to mess up. However, this will also present an opportunity for the league to introduce innovations to one of the most exciting events in a football fan's offseason calendar.

Meanwhile, the Bills will be hoping that their draft goes well. They've already made a big boon by adding Stefon Diggs to the fold, and a fantastic draft will only help them improve on their wildcard finish last season.
