The Buffalo Bills believe they have their quarterback of the future in rookie Josh Allen. Buffalo traded up in the 2018 NFL Draft to get a potential franchise player at the position and may have gotten one in Allen who is already making an impression with his new team.

Although it is uncertain whether Allen will start Week 1 for the Bills, the 22-year-old is brimming with confidence and isn't letting the pressure of being a high draft pick get to him. In fact, Allen claims there's no pressure on him right now, via Dominic LoVallo of the team's website.

“There’s really no pressure,” said Allen. “There’s nothing that’s been said to me that has made me feel uncomfortable or feel worried about anything at all. I’m here to get better, I’m here to be the best teammate, the best quarterback that I can be. That’s what I’m trying to do.”

At this point, Allen could easily win the starting job in Buffalo. Unlike Sam Darnold with the New York Jets or Baker Mayfield with the Cleveland Browns, Allen may have the easiest path to being a starter right out of the gate come September as he competes with AJ McCarron and Nathan Peterman for the job under center.

Even Bills star running back LeSean McCoy recently endorsed or at least acknowledged Allen's talent by saying the quarterback is pretty good despite the fact he's not particularly a fan of rookies. Allen seems to be going with the right approach to get his NFL career underway and he may get the nod to start once the 2018 NFL season begins for Buffalo on Sept. 9 against the Baltimore Ravens.
