The meeting between the 3-1 Buffalo Bills and the 3-1 Kansas City Chiefs this coming Sunday is going to be must-watch football. It's almost like a playoff game masquerading as a regular-season contest, with the Bills and the Chiefs expected to make the postseason. There should be massive attention for that game for that reason plus the fact that both teams have elite quarterbacks in Josh Allen for the Bills and Patrick Mahomes for the Chiefs.

Allen, however, isn't buying any of the hype surrounding this meeting. The Bills signal-caller tried to play down the excitement when he was asked about his thoughts about the game, per Dante Lasting of the Bills' website.

“That's all it is, it's Week 5,” Allen said. “I would assume that they're thinking the same thing. Everybody wants to make this big deal about the AFC Championship rematch, and I get that's what it is. But it's a new year and this team's different than last year and their team's different than last year.”

Allen and Buffal have an ax to grind with the Chiefs, though. After all, it was Mahomes and company who stopped Buffalo from reaching the Super Bowl last season when they defeated the Bills in the AFC Championship Game, so whether he admits it or not, Allen is fully motivated to lead Buffalo against the reigning AFC champs in Week 5.
